The Friends donate all funds raised towards the refurbishment and regular maintenance of the House and grounds, and towards projects that will enhance people’s enjoyment of the Park now and into the future.

A major achievement during this time was ‘Project Peacock’ - the construction and equipping of a new Education Centre on the site of an old shed at the rear of the Heritage Centre to which we contributed a total of £84,000. Upton Country Park now holds a ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ Quality Badge and runs a number of educational activities on site as well as hiring the facility to others for educational visits.
